ALL THE top trophy winners, all the wines scored 96+ and those that were highly rated by two or more of the top panels – together with the cellar locations and the prices of the wines when last they were checked. All reviewed by teams of experts, panels of wine lovers, professionals seeking out the best of the best in terms of quality and interest value. These are the most applauded red wines of South Africa whose producers had the courage of their convictions to submit their beauties for assessment and comparison locally and/or internationally in 2024 – albeit that some of the winemakers are of the opinion that they have wines in their portfolio that are even more special and priced accordingly.
