Finally… 2021 Cape Fine & Rare Wine Auction results available at last

IT TOOK OVER six weeks following the CFRWA in Stellenbosch on 22 May 2021 for the final final results of the bidding to be released, addressing the confusion surrounding an earlier set of unaudited figures and a period during which some producers whose bottles and cases came under the hammer were not sure what their wines had sold for. See below for those items that fetched over R2000 a bottle / 750ml – not including VAT and commissions, and excluding the collections and mixed cases comprising various wines, various vintages or various pack sizes. For more about the record price paid for the 1821 Grand Constance, click here, and for more info about the auction and the prices fetched for any of the other items (110 in total), the event management are happy to answer any questions.
